Pioneer Philips comparison

Im moving house soon and am looking at getting a bigger tv i love the look of the Philips and i demoed the Pioneer before i know the comparison is between 2 different size tvs but wondered how much difference in just picture quality there is between the Philips 42pes001 and the Pioneer KRP500? I cant find anywhere where i can demo them side by side but maybe someone has. Thanks.

You dont need to compare side by side. The difference is pronounced but then you'd unlikely buy the two for the same reasons. If you sit more than ten/eleven feet minimum away buy the Pioneer, any less get the philips but for that cinema feel and if you have the space, there's no substitute for inches nor is there a better telly I've seen yet.

If you want something in between, also look at Samsung's 46" 7020. Very nice too.
