Does anyboday have any idea when Pioneer will release the fireware update for their BDP-51 FD.
Recently purchased this to replace my ps3 as bluray player and am very pleased with the results.
I use the on-board decoding for the hd sound formats as my Sony 1200es doesn't do audio decoding through hdmi.
As the specs say it will decode every format except DTS HD Master audio which according to this mags bluray supplement is the least compressed format.
I've downloaded the latest fireware and installed already, think it just improves loading times.
Any response would be good.
P.s emailed Pioneer about this nearly 2 Weeks ago and no reply. Not great customer service.
