Hi guys,am thinking of getting either the Pioneer bdp320 or bdplx53 to replace my Sonybdps350,I can get them both for around 200 quid,I know they`re not new models but I don`t need all the internet stuff,my Sony tv has all that.Anyone reckon it`s worth getting one of these? Thanks guys.

If you are considering a BDP320 i would recommend it, the only complaint i have is the slow load times , but that said it is a definate improvement over the Sony you have. I had the Sony 363 version although quicker to load the picture & sound quality certainly was not as good as the Pioneer. If you shop about there are still a few around going for about £80 check here for example.

Or try the LX52 which is better than the LX53 for picture, sound and build quality. I'd even go for the 320 before the 53. I found the loading times on my LX52 fast enough and they improved after a firmware update.

LX52 is a cracking player. I only changed to the 54 for the 3D.

It's a tad slow to load...but we are only talking seconds and in the real world it's not that important. Eat some popcorn......
