Pioneer BDP-430/BDP-54 firmware update

Hi,

There's a new firmware update for the Pioneer BDP-54 and BDP-430 players.

Mentions YouTube in the details - currently installing so cannot comment on it's usability (last update for LAN didnt work).

Hi,

Update on above...it works! Music is now playing over the network and YouTube can be viewed.

YAY!

Took a while Pioneer but the update now works.

I have have had issues since instaling this firmware - I have only noticed it with Avatar Special Exteneded Edition

I have had a few weird skips and the general movement is some shots is off.

I had the best results from 2 firmwares ago - the one before this one I had to change the pic settings on my Kuro as I was getting the green screen problem - caused by the Kuro being set on 4.4.4.4 and the blu ray needing it to be on RGB.

Why after a big chunk of time would I have to change that??

Anyone else got any issues with this film / firmware?

i have just updated the software for my pioneer BDP-LX70A (thanx to your thread for reminding me :cheers: ) and its sped the loading times up considerably, i'm not sure what they have done to it but im very happy, i was going to update it but i think i'll keep it now!
