Hi people,

New to this forum and was wondering if anyone can help me...I'm looking for a switch for phono leads that will switch the OUTPUTS, there seem to be loads of 3 or 4 inputs into one output, but I have got one pair of phono cables that need to have outputs switched for different destinations, is there such a thing available???

Cheers,

A.M.

Does it have to be a switchbox? Any reason why you cannot use a Y-cable?

Most analog switchboxes just use a mechanical switch inside, there's nothing fancy. So presumably, connecting your phono on the single output and your amps on the multiple inputs will work just fine.

Thanks tremon,

Thanks for the reply, I didn't want to use a Y-cable because I thought it may just halve the signal??? Never thought about reversing the signal and in effect wiring the switch up backwards, sound as though that would work, should have realised really shouldn't I? :?

Thanks again.
