Philips 9000 series

I am sorely tempted by the glowing reviews of the Philips 9704 apart from there being no Freeview HD capability. One option would be to buy a separate Freeview HD box when they are available. Or I could wait for the 2010 generation of the 9000 series which will give me future proofing for 3D, not that I am interested in the latter at the moment. But who knows! My wife says that the way I am going, I will wait for ever for the next delight over the horizon.

So what I would like to know is can anyone advise me when the 2010 Philips 9000 series TVs are likely to hit the streets.

i dont understand.at leats here in portugal all new tvs have mpeg4 tuners.wich are the digital ones.so isnt that freeview?

As I understand it, the9704 will receive Freeview but not Freeview HD.
