Philips 7404 Custom Tint settings?

Hi, does anyone know about the 'custom tint' settings in the 7404's picture menu, I gather off of another site that they should be used to alter the white balance of the set to get it close or on 6500k, which suggests a better picture, any ideas?

Just had a go at customising the tint - have to keep getting inside the system with the remote but with patience you get there

There are fixed settings which appear for normal , warm and cool , if you go from those to the actual white / red / green etc the graphics show the counter going up or down

Not sure that there is a dedicated white balance graphic
