Hi

I have been looking at the tvs for at least several months and still no one has any stock?

Is there a reason? Any due soon because they have been saying for months that they are due.

Thanks

Philips's 2010 press conference is taking place today in Barcelona, at which they're expected to announce all the new models for this year. Like most manufacturers at this time of year, they may be running down stocks of the outgoing 2009 models in preparation for the new ones.

Can't help thinking these tvs are way over priced, especially in todays economy, and when you look at how much a 50inch pioneer plasma costed.

The price better tumble fast.

I would stick with it with all that wireless stuff on the new models, I would buy one if I could afford it.

When you have tried it out it would be interesting to here how you get on with it.

Thanks

Stock is available - we have had a steady supply of 40 and 46" models over the last few weeks. The 9705 does not appear to be released until Q3 if i read the news on this site correctly. This is in line with the expected product life.

If you are after a 46" set the Panasonic Z1 has recently been reduced in price and is now a price rival to the Philips. Two of the best screens on the market IMO.
