PC Media Software with Android/Ipod Remote Apps?

I'm considering getting rid of the Squeezebox and using (Windows) PC>DAC>Amp instead.

However, one of the things I like about the SB3 is using iPeng as a remote.

Do any of you use an iPod or Android device as a remote control for your PC media player?

What media player sofware as you using? And how do you find it? Links would be great!

Itunes, Foobar, J river Media Center (and probably other media players) all have iPhone/iPod Touch and Android remote apps.

I use iTunes and 'Remote for iTunes' on my Android phone.

Thanks. I'll check these out.

Should prabably mention that my library is made up of FLAC files and a fair few DTS surround rips. So would need to support these too.
