Hi,  I've just bought the above TV after reading the review in What Hi Fi Magazine where it was awarded the full 5 stars.  I watched a couple of DVDs on it using a Sony RDR HX510 HDD recorder and had no problems, but when i just watched Signs on BD using the PS3 (connected via HDMI naturally) i noticed a lot of motion blurring.  Hoping it was the disc i've just sampled Apocalypto and Casino Royale and I saw the same thing with those too.  The opening chase scene in Madagascar in CR looks awful.  I never had this with my old Sony 26" HD ready tv (can't remember the exact model number) and am amazed to find it on this Full HD set.  I'm also surprised no one else on here has had the same problem and that it wasn't picked up on when being reviewed.  It can't just be mine!  Is there some setting i need to change that i may have missed?  I just checked to see if there was a fimware update available but apparently it's up-to-date (version 1105-10100)

Cheers in advance for any help you can give

Hi, i'm sorry to hear your experiencing the worst aspect of some hdtv's, i have a Sony KDL 32" S3000 which does the same thing and i find it unwatchable at times, the worst offenders are the very reason i bought my hdtv, films or dvd's.

I thought when i switched to watching HD dvd's that it would stop, wrong, it just made it stand out that much more. I wish i could offer you a solution but if it's a LCD tv then this seems to be a common problem and lots of company's are now at least trying to address. this problem.

Sony has motion flow etc and there using 100 hertz instead of 50 with varying degrees of success i might add, i to read all the reviews, both professional and user's and made my choice, i'm now looking for a new hdtv and have been advised to switch to plasma as these apparently don't suffer from this problem so badly.

I was kindly recommended certain model's on this forum, panasonic being very popular but i've just bought my monthly magazine of computer shopper which this month is testing hdtv's and the the recommended panasonic's didn't come very high in ther test, so i'm not sure what reviews to believe anymore or if it's a good idea in the first place, from now on my motto is seeing is believing, see it with your own eye's and then make your choice.
