Early reviews of this TV online seem to suggest that the 2D performance is similar to the VT20 (best in the market today).

Simple equation: V20 + 3D = VT20.

Long term black level performance remains unknown.

aye , and its only £1500 , for almost , some say as good as , kuro performance , pound for pound , thats gotta be near unbeatable ...

CAN I JUST CLARIFY , THAT I HAVE NOT EVER SEEN A PANASONIC 50V20 WITH MY OWN EYES , ANY VIEWS OR THOUGHTS ON THE MERITS OF SAID TV , HAVE COME TO MY ATTENTION THROUGH THE POWER OF GOOGLE , AND NOT FROM MAXFLINN REVIEWINC INC PLC , OR ANY OV MY SUBSIDIARY COMPANIES ....ta
