It's an HD Ready set, not Full HD, but it will accept a 1080p feed and scale it to suit the screen's resolution.

I know that for sure, because we've spent a large part of this week feeding it Blu-ray discs (as well as lots of other sources) as part of our 32in TV Supertest, due out August 23rd....

Thanks claire. I am having real trouble deciding on a 32 inch lcd at the mo so maybe i will wait for the August issue and decide after that. At the moment i am stuck between the

Just to add my two pence worth: I'm thinking of buying the Sony HXD870 DVD recorder. In terms of 32" LCDs to match to this I particularly like the Pana TX32LXD70 with its 100Hz processor. How does this compare to the Sony equivalent, which I think is the 32V2500 - is it worth remaining brand loyal in terms of performance/convenience?

Or should I sit tight and wait until Aug 23rd?
