Hi Guys, Can you explain a couple of things for me please. Having just bought the above tv which is superb by the way, I notice from the manual that it has 1920 x 1080p capability plus 1920 x 1080 24p . It states that the tv is HD READY. Therefore does this mean that when hd freeview comes on line or free sat starts that we will be able to receive and display them. We realise that a box will be necessary for free sat but what about via Aerial ? Also does the 1920 x1080 24p mean it is 24 frames per second compatible ? Lastly Clare have you tested this particular Model yet. thanks a lot.

Given its 1920 x 1080 resolution this is a Full HD set, so will have no problem handling Freesat and Freeview HD when they begin transmissions. Yes, you'll need a satellite decoder box for Freesat, but HD Freeview will come through your rooftop aerial. And 24p means it's 24fps compatible.

The nearest model we've tested to this one is the Panasonic TH-50PZ700, the next model up, which got 4 stars in Feb 08.

Hi again guys, Thanks for that. Now can you help with this, we have a Denon DSW-FS3 Sound Bar with Separate Sub-Woofer which gives Dolby Digital/ Dolby Pro-logic 2 and DTS . In the set up Menu there is a Delay Adjustment in milli seconds. At present it is set at 0. We sit some 4.7 metres from the Tv with the Unit directly under it the Sub Sits approx 20inches behind the Tv . Question what would be the most effective Delay setting given the info I have provided. cheers
