I' m just about to buy my first flat screen tv and after getting thoroughly confused by it all plasma or LCD, size etc, I have had several recommendations on the Panasonic TH37 or 42 PX70 and all have been confirmed by comments on What Hi Fi. site. Just one thing, one salesman pointed out to me that you can see reflections from windows in this glass screen and as I have a lot in my lounge it is worrying me a bit as to whether to go ahead. I can see these reflections very clearlyon a bright day and can hardly see the screen at times. I'd be pleased to hear if anybody has discovered this after buying, rather than waste a lot of money. Please don't say "pull the curtains" as several bright sparks have already said. Regards "sixtyplus"

I have recently bought a Panasonic TH37PX70 - it is an excellent tv but your salesman is correct. Windows / Lamps / lights positioned in the angle of reflection are also clearly seen on the screen.

Maybe this is the same for all plasmas?

I turn the lights out. You could pull the curtains - oops sorry!
