Panasonic TH 42PX70 Possible Fault Looming

Help!

I have 1 month left on my warranty and yesterday on switching on the set the screen was just a mess of horizontal lines bouncing up and down the screen. After switching off and then back on it was ok and has been fine since. But is this a portent of doom?

Any advice/help would be mosr appreciated

Quick chat with Pana dealer to see what they think. If you bought it elsewhere contact them with your findings to claim on the warranty.

I have the 50" panny and have had the same happen to me on 2 occasions. I was told the HDMI cable is the cause. It only happened after using HDMI cable but never when i used component cable. Not sure if what i was told is correct.
