Panasonic TH-42 PZ81 best connected to an Onkyo TX-SR606 or Denon AVR-1909? Any suggestions?

Any ideas which AV receiver would best suit the Pana?

May upgrade my old speakers but defo upgrade cables to accommodate the Pana and receiver so any help with which speakers and cables would be appreciated too! Budget for speakers - would be £250 and cables would be £100 to connect them all up.

I am currently looking into buying the pana PZ80, do you run it with Shy HD or SD and how do you find the picture with normal TV, i can't decide between the SR 606 or the new Sony DGR 820 either.

There isn't really an amp which will suit the TV best, the two are pretty much independent i.e. if you're using the amp, one does pictures, the other does sound. What are your old speakers?

The speakers are SS-V305 part of a TA-VE 150 integrated AV amp (just a basic set up) that I bought when I bought my DVP-S735D which was the best DVD player I could buy at the time (recieving 10/10 for all elements of the review)
