I have seen both and couldn't say there was any noticeable difference in picture quality, although I would have to say that the SCBT-100 doesn't sound as good as it's standard def siblings the SCPT570/SCPT870.
yeop i read the review.know ut sounds bright.but maybe with other speakers it could be fine.if image has the same quality.(dvd upscaling also) the the stand alone player I might go for one.
The DMP-BD35 is superior to the SC-BT100 in every sense - sound, dvd playback and blu-ray images. No comparison.
How do I know? My brother foolishly spent almost £1k on this silly system and is now regretting it very badly. He will now be going the separates route and getting a BD-35 to start with.
