Panasonic P65VT50 now making buzzing sound

My 14 month old Panasonic VT50 has been working perfectly until a few days ago when it has started making a continuous buzzing sound. I tried playing with the picture settings but it made no difference. I sit around 4.5m from the set and can hear the buzzing with my system at normal volume levels.

Since my warranty has expired, has anyone experienced similar problems and how much did it cost to fix it?

Where is the buzzing coming from? There have been various fixes for the past two generations. Panasonic carry out the fixes but I am not sure if your problem is the same.

Where did you buy the TV from? As per Sale of Goods Act, you may still be entitled to a repair.
