Panasonic DMP-BDT310 Twin HDMI Output Problem

Have just bought thsi unit to link up to my Samsung UE55D8000 Tv and Pioneer SLCX82 AV Amp. Am using the second HDMI ouput to output audio only usinga v1.4 cable to the Pioneer. Problem is I am only getting intermitent sound output to the AV amp. The LED on the Panasonic lights up to indicate secondary HDMI audio for 5secs and switches off for 5sec and likewise the AV amp only gets about 5secs of input. Well weird !. Anyone had any similar problems before I send the thing back ???

Hi mate have you tried using a 1.3 hdmi to the tv and same to the amp and then just confirm you setting in the menu.
