Pana 85 or 80 ?

I am looking for a new 32" tv since my old crt conked out last week & I was wondering what with the introduction of 32" tv`s with full HD does it make any difference to the picture if it is a 50 or 100Hz ?

I have been considering -

Panasonic LZD85 - full hd, 100 Hz or

Panasonic LZD80 - full hd, 50 Hz

Which has the better picture ?

Well I have the LZD85 and the picture was much better for fast motion because of the 100Hz processing with no real downside I can see in terms of artifacts. You can tell the difference between standard and HD output from my V+ box (even though some suggest full HD at 32" is a waste of time), but spend a little time setting it up for your room. It took me a couple of days to be happy with it. BBE sound on the LZD85 is much better than the standard sound on the LZD80. Look at Dixons online for a good price, and don't forget the voucher codes websites for an extra discount.
