Bit of a waste of time this now but maybe worth a mention for future ref... The rega carts are very very short height wise , therefore as rega arms have no vta adjustment and as they are set initially for rega carts, a Blue will cause the arm to tilt upwarsds from arm pillar to cart. I have before seen the back of carts touching records cos of this. I was going to suggest having a look as reducing the downforce would be allowing the cart to lift up slightly and clear the distortion by letting the cart clear the disc.Spacers needed !!...Another fault which may seem silly but most faults are , Is wires actually pushing down against records cos they've been bent down when fitting. It has happened and I've seen wires worn throught to the bone , and that becomes a costly bit of sillyness .
