Original Roksan Caspian CD, how did it sound?

Ive seen a Roksan Caspian CD player for sale for £159, this was missing remote but had 6 months warenty. First of all, is this a decent price?

Im looking for a CD player in the £150 sort of price range which sounds good but not to 'clinical'. I like my Digital streaming setup (mostly 320kbps AAC, lossless for special albums), but every now and then certain Albums seem a little too clinical and cold, so I would like a CD player that leans on the warm side.

Would the Caspian be a good choice? Any better solutions?

This is a very decent price (!) don't forget the current model is closer to £1400, and whilst it is better, the original is still a stunning CD Player. Sound is very detailed, excellent resolution but not at all clinical as suggested. At this price you could always resell if the sound is not to your liking?

On reflection, dont think I can afford it right now. Am I allowed to tell fellow bristolians where they might find it if they fancy ago, or is that against forum rules? Im not the one selling it, honest
