optical surround gone

could someone tell me why my surround sound has stopped.my optical is comming from my tv to my onkyo 606 amp,it works through my hdmi from ps3 but for some reason stopped when on sky or terrestrial tv.could some one give me a clueas to what settings could have changed,thanks.

Yes, digital output is only available from the onboard digital tuner. Probably...
