HI , i have bought a decent optical cable to connect my wd tv to Yamaha YSP30d. The problem being is that the cable connects upwards onto the recessed part of the back of the YSP which has approx 5 cm clearance from the shelf which has resulted in the cable being badly kinked at the connector. Is there a quality optical cable that might have a shorter connector or can u get one customised. The free optical with the YSP has a very narrow cable which i was looking to try and improve on.

How about a 90§ angled adaptor like THIS, for example?

Cheers Daveh, could be just the answer , although would this type of connection take away some of the performance of a quality cable? Thanks for the reply

That is what i am after but in hdmi of which they have also,

Do you lose any quality in pic, Just you can spend hundreds on a cable then add an adaptor for £1 or 2!!!
