Question Optical Signal Generator

Hi,

I own a Chord Mojo. Which sounds great but isnt without issue.

One of my major gripes with it, is that it turns off after 10 mins of inactivity.

As far as i know theres no way to turn this setting off. Its hardwired into firmware.

You can however trick the mojo into thinking its recieving a signal constantly. I tested this theory by connecting an xbox to it via optical and then using the mojo with my hifi via usb.

Now keeping the xbox on constantly is not sustainable.

Is there such a thing as an optical spoofer/signal generator? If there is i cant seem to find it.

Also any other ideas on stopping the mojo from idling are also welcome.

I think that leaving anything connected to the USB will prevent shutdown.

It needs to be recieving a signal via usb, not just it being plugged in.

I thought it checked to see if anything was connected to the USB port, and would remain awake if there was anything there.

Nope needs to be recieving a signal, either usb, optical or coaxial.
