i have one of those and a couple of things to point out:

it is enormous and stands out quite a bit due to the bright colours.

it sometimes stops working of its own accord even when left undisturbed and i have to switch it one way then to other to get the connections to clear.

better solution would be if your tv / amp can act as a the switch - modern tvs have digital inputs (HDMI) and an optical out. so ps3, x360, sky etc all into the tv then optical out to the surround reciever.

plus i hate having to get up and switch it manually - i understand that there is a high end remote version somewhere.

Though most TVs won't let you output other sources sounds via their optical out - generally it's just to output the TVs own inbuilt tuner.
