You say 2 blu-ray players does this mean you would only buy the Oppo just for the 4k format or are you asking for excellent music playback as well as the 4k format in one box so you can get rid of your Oppo 105 ?

Personally, I would sell the 105 and get the Oppo 205 if I get a good deal on the 105 (AV Forums will be the best place to sell if you're a member there). Or get a cheap player (or use Xbox) for 4K blu ray duties and keep the 105.

I currently stream my music through the 105, then digital coaxial out to 2qute dac. Hardly play any cd's these days. @Bigboss yes I am a memeber on AV forums. That may just be a good place to start if i do consider to sell. As per buying the 205, not made up my mind just yet, CES is just round the corner never know what may creep up with Sony, Lg, Pansonic, or even Marantz?. Which ever way I go the Player has to be Dolby Vision enabled. Hoping Sony will do the Dolby Vision firmware up date as promised come Janunary for all flagship tv sets. Really enjoying the XE93, brillant tv set.*biggrin*

If I do get a good price for the 105 then that may be the better solution to avoid having two players. My partner already complaining about two many boxes. *nea* Then may have to go for the 205.

If I do go for the 205, then I will unfortunately have to put the buying of amp on hold.

we have the xbox one in our games room on our LG hdr lcd, and for gaming it’s effin fantastic! I’ve tried a couple of movies on 4k BD and looks good, but not as good with blacks as my VT. I suppose I need to have the LG calibrated, however I don’t think it’s worth the money on a £800 Tv we predominately use for games and the odd bit of Netflix. The Xbox is a good multi tasking option, but you obviously won’t have the excellent audio as your 105!
