Hello
As someone who is now in his 40s.. (yrs wise!) I have been brought up with listening to vinyl at home on old direct drive players such as the Sansui FR-D35 or D55 (in my signature) which belongs to my parents and at friends places which mainly consist of Technics SL1210 models. I am always in awe of the quality of sound of those decks but they are out of my price range.
I'm now in a situation where I have my own collection of vinyl and am considering a deck of my own. However I can't find a local shop that has two decks I would like to audition. They are the Pioneer PLX-500 and the Onkyo CP1050. which one is easier to live with ? and also easier to setup and use ? and also i don't want to use the bog standard stylus and cartridge so would appreciate some advice on that as well.
Would love everyones help on this! Many thanks in advance.
My main listening colllection consists of a lot of classical but also electronica, such as Daft Punk, Justice and a few more like that.
