Onkyo TX-NR609

Hi,

I have been looking at receivers fror a while and since it one the awards last year it has been the top of the list. In NZ it has reached a very affordable price of $600NZD.

My only concerns are what will this years receivers bring out that the 609 is missing or can't be easily fixed with a bit or kit, i.e.airplay.

And is this a relativley future proof machine?

If I had the money to burn right now I'd probably buy a 609 despite the new Onkyo range thats just come out. In the UK the new 619 is £200 more expensive and doesnt offer enough extra to warrant the price difference IMO.
