I am new so forgive me if it has been posted before, but having bought the onkyo for home cinema i was disappointed in its music capacity, my speakers being the monitor audio rs6av without the sub, but having biamped the fronts using the onkyo the music has been transformed! it is now liveable could you recommend a sub i know the monitor audio is the recommended one but i am a bit worried about my neighbours with 500w of base power

I'd go for the Monitor Audio one. After all, you don't have to use it flat out - and it is very good indeed.

Hi Andrew or other's, Do you How much better is the 705 over the 606 for music, films upscaling etc?. cheers

I seen it in 'Gold' by the way. Wonder if any others come in that colour. looks better than silver in my opinion. Only reason I ask the above questino is I seen some really good deals on it although I heard the 805 and 875 are miles better.

See here for some discussion on the gold versions. And yes, the 705 is a little better than the 605, but the step up to the 805/875 is much more worthwhile.
