Onkyo 876 - best settings for 7.1?

Just updated my speakers to give me a 7.1 system - whats the best setting on the amp to make sure all speakers are working all of the time from for example

sky TV?

PS3?

HD DVD?

I think you need to use one or other of the listening modes that use all 7 channels, such as Dolby PLIIx, DTS Neo:6 (which will expand stereo out to 7 channels) or Onkyo All Channel Stereo, etc.

hi there im running 7.1 from my onkyo 906 and i find neutal thx 7.1 does a good job.
