I have onk 875, cyrus cd6s and kef IQ 5se, if I add a 8VS2 to the preouts where do I conect the front two speakers - the amp or the receiver?

leave the front (stereo speakers) connected to the cyrus 8,that way you use the cyrus as normal when listening to cds via your cd6.

when watching a movie using the 875,turn the volume on the cyrus 8 until it corresponds with the volume on the 875(mine is halfway exactly on my cyrus 8) then the cyrus powers your front speakers with the onkyo powering the rest.

That how i do it and it works a treat.

Anybody do it differently?

cheers.

What if then I wanted to have speakers in a second room, would I use another amp, power amp or the powered second zone on the receiver. If all the sources are going into the stereo amp (if I add the cyrus 8 that is) then the powered second zone (receiver) wouldn't have any sources going into it?????

Anybody have any ideas?
