have had a 605 for a few years now

was wondering is there better out there for less than £500.

don't really need Atmos or Spotify etc, just a better sounding amp for movies

or stick with waht i have?

i heard that onkyo are releasing a new midrange receiver very soon, the TX-NR656 which looks like it will be excellent for the price think it will retail for £500 then you have the denon line depending on what you want, the avr-x2200w is excellent and won many awards, i picked one up myself and far better than my previous sony av receiver.
