Onkyo 605 - just stopped working!

Help! I have sky hd hooked up to my onkyo and the sound has just cut out. For some reason the display seems to say dolby digital for every channel and the little dolby red light is always on.

I'm sure its just me being stupid and may have pressed something I shouldn't but help! I also can't use the tv volume with the sky on (works ok with sky off).

Again - help!

Bit hard to diagnose without actually being there to work through the system. Could be a Sky problem - do you have anything else connected to the receiver and if so does it work OK with that?

I'd turn everything off, reboot the Sky box - switch it off at the mains, wait a minute or so, and then turn it back on - and then try turning the receiver and TV back on.

The problem with the remote suggests you may have put the remote into some strange mode - press the Sky button and see whether that helps.

Beyond that, not really sure...
