Where does “Yield” land for you?Just picked this one up. 32 years old this Autumn 😬🤷🤦♂️
I actually prefer this to Ten, which itself is a heck of an album.

Good question and it reveals how pointless and subjective ranking albums is because I end up copping out on my answer 😆Where does “Yield” land for you?

I just recently got an original German pressing of Yoshimi on translucent red wax, which sounds pretty amazing to me. Which version is this?
I think this one is a 2019 re-pressing. Sounds good, but probably better ones out thereI just recently got an original German pressing of Yoshimi on translucent red wax, which sounds pretty amazing to me. Which version is this?
It's, sort of, their only album. However it is Ian McCulloch and Will sergeant from Echo & the Bunnymen before they reformed and made Evergreen. Not heard of them before just put them on out of interest will have to listen further good choice any recommended albums by them for further listening?
Emerson lake and Palmer very experimental got a few of there albums so many musical tangents. The Scottish record haul is proving to be a little disheartening. Lots of misses (for my taste):
But, there's some ELO that I might keep hold of, and today's lunchtime spin was Fleetwood Mac's "Tusk". It seems to divide opinions but I thought it was pretty good after listening to the first LP.
- Emerson, Lake & Palmer
- A bizarre quantity of Moody Blues and offshoots from that band
- Rick Wakeman
- Rare Bird
- Elton John
After this I've got a couple of Pink Floyd and Jethro Tull albums to listen to, and then some decisions to make.
