🤣 oopss....

Yeah to be honest I find that really off putting. It's meant to be a group for people to discuss, share etc not a platform for businesses to constantly promote their stuff.

I have to say I've hardly if ever come across it here thankfully.
I agree. I've always imposed my own set of rules on myself with regards to forum posting, even if I am purely on a particular forum for the business. Overpromotion (spamming) immediately stands out to me, and I hate to see it. I think a particular forum got sick of me reporting posts as I reported them based on my own rules, even if they didn't always break the forum's rules. There's only one culprit here, and the forum seem to continue to let them get away with using the business name, which is against the rules. But hey ho, all forums seem to have their favourites.

See? I didn't even know you had a business!

And don't get me wrong, I am OK with the occasional plug - but when it is constant.....

There is a forum rule that you can't have your business name as your forum name, but that seems to only be enforced when the mood takes them, and against some, not others.

I don't see any explicit rule that states that.

Just that the forum shouldn't be used as tool to promote products or services.

I'd rather know if someone is running a business and posting in that capacity personally. It means their "advice" can be disregarded....
