But if the demand drops and your product becomes more specialist the price may go up. This has happened with hand made English shoes. In the late 90s a decent pair of shoes cost £85 to £125. Adjusted for inflation this would be about £160 to £235. However as the demand has dropped and they have become specialist they actually cost £300 to £600.
My Gucci's were £800 and only get worn for functions. However, with World War III just around the corner, there seems little point in saving money!

The Heybrook stands were very good - four columns so very rigid, wide footprint so very stable. Shame they couldn't have made them open frame like the Epos stands of the time, but then that's changing the point of the product I guess.
The current stands are open frame I believe, which ones are you talking about?
The current ones do not look like £499 stands.....
Their inclusion in a package makes the speakers themselves look way overpriced.

Pretty sure you're no longer the bully with the big stick.
Not bullying anyone just stating the obvious, or so I thought.
Feel free to write what you please, it would be helpful if it was actually relevant though or perhaps I am expecting a bit too much these days.
However Gucci shoes and World War 3 is not at all relevant in in my opinion, and only serves to deviate a thread

Only just seen this thread. Pre-ordering speakers at £2,750, with just one picture and aortic load of flowery nonsense text to go on but, no meaningful information whatsoever?

You'd have to be mad...
Exactly. As I said no specification at all. What were they thinking?
Yes, Mr. Comeau has created some great speakers in the past and actually delivered a pair to my house, but a tad more information about these might be useful.
