Noise from Pioneer Plasma Screen

Hi all

I have noticed a buzz/hissing noise coming from my Pioneer PDP 435XDE screen when bright or white colours are displayed, I han't noticed this before!

Any ideas as to what it may be and how to reduce or stop it completely?

I have same prob!! Super annoying once you've 'tuned in to it'

I found upgrading power cables and adding a Mains Conditioner helped,

but did not rid me of this, I just turn amp up to over power it now

!!!

Any more tips welcomed.

Pioneer plasmas are notorious for this (and other plasmas to be fair).

I have the 5090 and find the problem very annoying. There is a power save mode 2 option on my set which helps a lot. Not sure if this is available on your set.

Not sure what settings are on the 5090 but my pioneer is a lot better viewed in 100Hz (was set to 72Hz), and even better with power save options on

HOWEVER, theres definitely a drop in detail on mine with power option so I dont use it myself

Cheers everyone for your replies. It si very annoying now I have noticed it. I will re check the settings and have a play this weekend and post comments if I improve it.
