I can't say i'm surprised. Speaking to work colleagues in Sydney and Melbourne, it's starting to get rough out their at the moment. Their whole PCR testing sounds nuts as well with people in some cases going out and queuing for 5 hours to get one. Seems crazy to me as you'd be more likely to to catch covid queuing for a PCR rather than it being sent to their home address.

The rules regardless of who you are should be universally applied. It sounds like someone has messed up with the medical exemptions to 'put on a show' rather than follow their rules (FIA anyone?), so I can understand why Australian citizens are miffed.

Unfortunately it's not over yet. Anyone worked out yet how he is supposed to be able to compete in Indian Wells? From what i've read you have to be fully vacinated to enter the country and the tournament, and yet he's on the start list!

Yes it is. I know I have heard about COVID infections getting bad, too. Not good. A lot people I know have now had COVID but lucky I have escaped it so far.

I know. Flu jab don’t normally hurt right? I thought the needle was going in one side of my arm and coming out the other end. She kept poking it in! I think she poked it in my TB jab mark too!
