Hi All,
First post here after reading a few posts and hoping I can get some help. I've got a Denon AVR-4311 and a boston acoustic sub connected to it - VR series. I recently set it all up for the first time (long story, leaving in a small place and had some stuff unplugged) and I cannot get any test sound coming through the sub.
I'm sure I've noticed sound coming from the sub when input's are active but its just the test sound that is not coming out. I don't know whether this has anything to do with it but I was advised from a sound guy that it was approriate to use quad shield coax so I had the sparky run the coax and I then soldiered on lugs. I'm going out from SW1 (the amp has two SW outs) and into the mono on the Sub.
Any feedback would be great please and if someone could confirm it was okay to run the Sub connection with the coax that would be a tick off the check list?
Cheers, G!
