no dialogue on blu-ray via tv

I've connected a playstation 3 to a Panasonic LCD via HDMI and it looks and sounds great but the dialogue channel is muffled and Batman etc sound as if they're underwater. Please help.

Most likely you have your PS3 set to output 5.1 Ch. or 7.1 Ch. sound.ÿ

Settings -> Sound Settings -> Audio Output Settings

Select the HMDI input connector and set the output to 2 Ch.ÿ
