No audio DTS HD master with Onkyo 606 and Denon BD 3800

I am trying getting my receiver Onkyo 606 to the right settings. My Denon BD gives with the blu ray film (ice age 2) HD master on its display but I can't get the settings rigt on my receiver. Denon is set at: 1080P/24, master HD, subtitle Dutch. The best I can get on the reciever is DTS. I use a hdmi Chord silver plus cable. I can't find the answer in the manual.

Any ideas?

Have you set the audio menu in the Bluray player to Bitstream

If I have this right, You can not get the DTS HD (or DD tru) to show on both as it depends on which is doing the decoding.

If the Denon is set to bitstream to the Onkyo, then it should show 'Dolby TrueHD', 'DTS-HD MA' etc. on both the player's OSD and the Onkyo's front display.

It is only if the Denon is set to decode onboard, and output LPCM, that the Onkyo would not display these symbols. The receiver would display 'Multichannel' instead.
