Next upgrade

Just sitting here waiting for DPD to deliver new Roksan K2 BT and TR5 speakers Wondering already about next upgrade! Anyone compared the DAC in the Pioneer N50 to a stand-alone DAC such as the Arcam irDac? The Pioneer is great and I would be happy to keep it if only for the internet radio and streaming, but I have never done a back to back with an alternative DAC. Any thoughts?

Thanks Vlad, plugged in and up and running - wow :dance: Not sure about the DAC now, these are different class!

The Pioneer N50 has excellent inner DAC , IMO no need for a stand-alone DAC .

Thanks isac69, appreciate the feedback. I certainly like the sound the Pioneer makes, maybe keep for now and try alternative DACs in the system some time in the future.
