After reading all the reveiws and dos and donts regarding tv i'm lost who new there was so much to consider. So thought I'd ask you lot, here goes.

I mostly watch everything through sky hd and the odd movie on my panasonic bd player.main veiwing room is large enough to consider even a 65inch set but price maybe aproblem with that. I currently have A 50in panasonic plasma pz80 i think but want to go larger not sure whether to switch to led.My budget will be not a penny more than £2000.

Any and all comments appreciated.

You're right, no 65-inch ST60 for UK. Check this thread:

Not sure of its price, but should be on top of your list if within your budget:

The Samsung will be about 10% over your budget: http://www.kikatek.com/P306883/PS64F8500STXXU-SAMSUNG-PS64F8500STXXU/REF

Those Kikatek prices are very low. Question is, would you buy from this retailer?

I'd expect most prices to be higher (online only and high street).

The samsung and the outgoing st50 look great but as i said absolute max is £2grand so may have to plump for a 55 and have a few quid in my pocket. still not sure on the LED/PLASMA argument though, seems bothhave there merits and pitfalls
