Yes that's very true, he would require a preamp and possibly headamp as well. I was trying to illustrate, it's worth exploring the active speaker option but someone else mentioned this is an old thread and I suspect he already has his new replacement up and running

Given the OP hasn't been online since the 5th April, we can only assume he's either purchased a new pair of speakers or kept his old ones.

I was in the market for a good Bluetooth portable speakers so I went with the JBL Flip 6, since its not heavy and provides really good sound quality. Its also waterproof and since Im a person who goes out for treks and camping, this is a good buy!
