Audiovector si1 signature is a nice speaker, but the bass output is too thin, the floorstanders are the better speaker, but I don't want floorstanders anymore.

Totem was a no-go, did not liked them, bit shouty.

PMC 22 were the best speakers, did demo them again and next week I can give them a try at my home. I think I will try them with Chord Company Odyssey speaker cables or maybe Epic Twin when I am on a higher budget.

Anyone has any experiences with the Odyssey and Epic Twin?

Have you had a chance to try out the Spendor SA1 or the Harbeth P3ESR ?

I have the P3ESR since Dec last year and find them wonderful even when used in a larger room. Good enough to make out differences in mains cables. They can even go loud if you need them to.

I have bought the 22's, the 21's did not sound as "real" as the 22's. Harbeth P3SER, Spendor SA1, PMC 21 did all have limitations that the bigger 6,5 inch drivers did not have.

I compared the PMC 22 with Kudos C1, but the PMC are just a bit better.

Right now I have some problemes with speaker cables, I thought the Chord Epic Twin would be my choice, but after a couple of days I was getting tired of the sound they produce. Now I have some OCOS cable and I like them better although low frequencies are not very present. The Epic cables had a boomy bass and too bright higs.

Enjoy your PMC 22. I do miss my older speakers with their 6.5 once in a while too. I do not have experience with many speaker cables. Have stuck with my Kimber 4TC for close to 20 years now. Find them balanced and with good clarity. Not as weighty in the bass region but articulate.

Thanks babyboomer, the 22's are great speakers + the looks are great too. I call them Darth Vaders. >)

I contacted PMC and they use Van Damme Blue 4mm speakercables, they very cheap so maybe I order some to try it out.

Dali Lektor 1's are nice (though you do need a sub with them to be able to feel the bass and not just hear it) :)

Good choice....though they remind me of the Heads on Easter Island (BTW. That's not a bad thing).

They are nice little speakers, but I allready bought the PMC Twenty 22. I have owned the Dali Zensor 5.1 set for a while.

I think the p3 ser is in black ash, M30 is not.

Acoustic energy is a very nice speaker but why on earth only 1 finishing? So it is a no. ;)

Hi Poldo,

We are going to offer gloss black as an option but sadly I don't think it will be in time for your purchase. Demand for the one finish has caught us off-guard so we're working hard just to keep up with that at the moment! Good luck in finding something that suits your needs!

Cheers,

Jim.

Any update on your black gloss finsh or other options ?
