New Rega RP1 or secondhand P3 TT

Hi, I'm looking at buying a new Rega RP1 or a used P3, or possibly Planar 2 which would be a little cheaper. My research has lead me to believe that a used P3 would be a better buy. Any feedback / advice would be most appreciated.

Moorgate website shows brand new discontinued stock of Rega P3-24 + Bias 2 cart fiited for £364. Must be a good bet if you can afford it and others on here have recommended previously.

Thanks LA but my budget including preamp is £300 tops. I've seen a used P3 with rega fono preamp included (but no cartridge) for £200, so with cartridge it'd work out the same price(ish) as a new RP1 + preamp.

I'm also considering the Planar 2 for the right price (under £100), any thoughts?
