New Kit + Novice User = Not sure how to connect up system - PLEASE HELP

I am delving into the world of home cinema and after many weeks of reading reviews have decided to buy the following -

1. TV - Philips 42PFL 9664

2. Blu Ray - Sony BDP S760

3. Reciever - Denon AVR 2310

4. Speakers - Kef KHT 5005.2W

5. Sky HD box

Can anybody explain to me the best way that I would need to connect everything in order to get the best performance from all the items. Is it simply done by HDMI connects - the back of the Denon looks quite daunting !
