Connecting sky HD to a surround sound system

Kit, Sony Bravia KDL40 W4500 TV, Denon Avr 2310 amp Kef kht 3005 se surround speakers, Sony bdp s370 blu ray player, Cambridge 640 cd player & Cambridge 650 amp, wireworld croma 6 hdmi leads and optical leads.

what is the best way to connect all this kit for the best optimum picture and sound quality as far as watching tv and blu rayis concerned?

I've got mu sky HD going into amp using hdmi.
Def works for me and I'm convinced the PQ is quite a bit better so the amp is upscaling the picture as well

Sky box connected via scart to TV for when you do not want the amp on, SKY to amp via HDMI and either optical or coax for the sound to the amp.
