Hi all. I am in the market for some new headphones and would like a little advice please. I will be using them whilst out walking mainly whilst listening to my iphone. The roads are a little noisy so i guess closed back would be preferable. I don't want in ear. I may also use them for listening to the radio whilst at a football match unless you think that my current in ears are better for this. I dont want a huge set, something small and neat would be preferable, folding if possible but that is not a deal breaker. I dont really want to walk around with a huge set of cans but keeping the road noise out would be good. Max spend is £50 but happy to spend less. any comments are welcome or should i just go ad buy AKG 451's on the what hifi recommendation?

The new Soundmagic P21 could be good, or the old Soundmagic P30 or the Beyerdynamic DTX501p equivalent.

Not sure that they will eliminate the noise Dale, what do you think?

Perhaps Audio-Technica ATH-ANC1 noise cancelling? They would do the job perfectly.

I've found that on-ears like the DTX501p or SM P30 are the best compromise for safety and sound quality. I would discourage noise canceling unless safely away from any traffic, including bicycles or heavy pedestrian movement.
